Welcome to Kaliyaganj College
With the missionary zeal, untiring efforts, noble sacrifices and undaunted initiative of the people of the locality in general, Kaliyaganj College was brought into existence as the temple of learning on the auspicious day of 20th August 1968, to cater to the long-felt thirst for knowledge of young rural aspirants in conformity with the ever-increasing craze for higher education in the post-Independence era. Affiliated to the University of Gour Banga (earswhile North Bengal), this college is one of the largest degree colleges in the district of Uttar Dinajpur. The college has in its own possession 12.31 acres of land enriched with the potential for developing it into an ideal institution for higher studies. The college has been accredited with a grade 'B++' in the Second Cycle of assessment by NAAC. The College has a Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU) study centre from where UG and PG courses in different subjects are offered.
