Alumni Association

Alumni Association of Kaliyaganj College is an association of graduates or, more broadly former students (alumni). It was formed in the year of 2006 to contribute significantly to the holistic development of the college. Alumni Association is the mirror of the college, reflecting the professional and personal achievement of the students. The number of registered Alumni presently stands at 100. The main purpose of setting this Alumni Association it to create a strong bond between present students and alumni.

Aims and Objectives:

(i) To promote academic exchange and experiences of the alumni with the present students.

(ii) To disseminate knowledge and skills for the mutual benefit of the Members as also for the benefit of the College.

(iii) To conduct academic meets such as conferences / workshops / seminars / lectures by eminent personalities from various walks of life etc.

(iv) To provide career guidance to present students by notable alumni.

(v) With the prior permission of the College authority, , the premises and/or infrastructures may be used / utilized by the Association for holding /conducting its academic programme, functions or activities, in accordance with the Association’s objectives.

The Alumni Association organizes reunions of ex-student arranges for cultural programs and contribute towards in social activities in association with NSS and NCC units of the college. Distinguished Alumni members regularly share their expertise on key development areas such as soft skill development, career growth, etc. and are actively involved in advising the present students of the college for their career advancement.
