Infrastructure for Physically Disabled Person

Kaliyaganj College believes to create an environment that supports and provides equal opportunities for all - a barrier free, harassment-free healthy environment within the campus, free from unlawful discrimination, ensuring equality of opportunity, dignity and respect for all individuals, immaterial of his/her disabilities. Almost all the buildings and college canteen have ramps at entry point making the campus barrier free and disabled friendly. The Central Library is similarly equipped with a ramp at the entry gate. The library has ample number of Braille books and audio books to aid blind and dumb students. Wheelchairs are available for emergency purposes along with male/female attendants for assistance of Divyang students. The wheelchairs are contributed generously by members of the College Alumni Association. Hand-rails are installed along all the stair-cases for support. There is a disabled friendly wash room in the Uttrayan building.
